Hello Anon

Thank you for writing.

Two periods after sex indicates you are not pregnant.

Pregnant women do not get menstrual bleeding although they can bleed in pregnancy.

A menstrual period happens when a pregnancy does not occur that month and the lining of the uterus, that would otherwise house a baby, breaks down in the form of blood and tissue. A baby could not survive this so a woman is not pregnant when it happens.

Your period must be delayed for other reasons including lifestyle changes or stress. We encourage our readers to take a pregnancy test for confirmation if they still have concerns.
Best,
Susan
