ask: i had a shingle shot almost 1 month ago, a week later my arm and shoulder blade hurt severely, my ring and little finger pain and sometime feel numb. i had a kelalog shot 1 week after the shingle shot.

Have you gone back to the clinic/doctor/nurse who gave you the injection, to tell them about your symptoms? It is important to do so, and I hope to hear back from you after you talk with them (hopefully you are able to do so?)

i did go back, 2 time, first they gave me the kenalog shot, it didn't help so went back in 4 days, they said maybe your back,they didn't know what to do i think. i had awful pain for a month, then remembered to use a home ultrasound i have, it got much better after the first time. still hurts some and i am using it along with massage and whirlpool. hopefully soon it'll all go away.
May 21, 2011 - 10:37amI have experienced this same thing, three weeks ago and it seems to be progressing poorly. The pain is not quite as intense but there are other symptoms presenting themselves and I'm a bit worried about this. Have you had any progress since posting this originally?
August 8, 2011 - 1:19pmYes, I am happy to say I am feeling much better now, it took many months, the Dr told me I have nerve damage so my left hand still is weak and clumbsy. I always kept doing whatever I could and I think that helped, like at first I couldn't even open the frig, now I can. Good luck!
