I have been having my menstral cycle for over 2 weeks now. I have never had a cycle this long. I'm not sure what is going on.

Hi Anon

Thank you for your post!

How old are you? Longer periods from the age of 40 on can be a sign of perimenopause or menopause.

If you are a young teen, it can be due to your cycle not being settled yet.

Bleeding this long (out of the blue) may warrant a visit to your doctor to make sure your hormones are at normal levels and to ensure this bleeding is not from another cause.
