I was finishing week 2 of my birth control pills, Ortho Cyclen, which I have been taking for almost 2 years. I skipped two pills and started a period. I took those two pills along with the pill I was supposed to take on that 3rd day but I still started a random period.
-Side note: About 6-8 months ago I accidentally skipped about 7 pills when I went on vacation and just doubled up each day to catch up and never even started a period then!!
I talked to a pharmacist, and then continued to take the rest of the pills. At the end of the 3rd week, instead of starting the placebo pills, I started a new pack, in hopes to end my period. I am now going on my 13th day of this period, with no hopes to ever stop bleeding! The period is very light now but still continues. Before all this happened I was completely regular, to a tee.

WHAT DO I DO!?!? I'm a psychotic hormonal mess and have been for the past 13 days! Please give me a light at the end of this crazy person tunnel!!

Hi Anonymous,
Thank you for submitting your question and I am certainly sorry to hear your a hormonal mess. We all hate that feeling. If you still are currently bleeding, I would consult your physician. A doctor would need to physically exam you for possibilities for your continuous period and also can help you stop your period as well.

Please keep us updated on your condition.
Thanks,
Missie
