I am working full time (morning to evbening) and I also attend college in evening. So a pretty tough schedule that I live. I am 22 year old virgin and no serious medical history. I havent gained/lost any weight in the years and my diet is also quite well so these couldnt be the reason. while stress could be one reason to miss period, yet what do i do to get back to normal? I cant see a doctor since I dont have a medical insurance. please help.

I want to see the OBGYN but first i want to be really sure about the fact that its not just stress delaying my period. Also today I started to have a pinching pain/cramp at the upper left side of my stomach. I'm really fretting over this! help!

Hi seal,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  Definitely, stress can cause a delay on ovulation and menstruation.  But, other conditions such as ovarian cyst, endometriosis and many other can also cause these changes to a woman's cycle.  You need to see your OBGYN, he might suggest having imaging test done.  There is no way of treating something, without knowing what can be causing it. Hope this was helpful?

Best,

Daisy
