I got my period that Sunday and was done by Wednesday. I didn't insert my new ring that Friday, I inserted it the following Friday. Was I still protected against pregnancy?

I am assuming this ring is some type of birth control. If you had intercourse without the ring in place and he did not use a condom, you would have been at risk for becoming pregnant.
If you were not sexually active and inserted a new ring when you were to, you should be okay.
