If high blood pressure occurs while using implanon, will the blood pressure normalize after removal and for how many weeks or months

Hello. Thank you for posting.

Once removed, BP should return to normal. We cannot predict in weeks or months. If you choose to try Implanon you will need to have your blood pressure monitored closely. If your blood pressure stays high your Implanon may need to be removed or you may need to take blood pressure medication.
