Im on the the contraception pill (Microgynon 30) And I missed two pills in a row. I then had taken the pill when i remembered and carried on with my pack. I had also taken the pill seven days at the right time each day before finishing the pack. On my 7 day break I had unprotected sex and then taken my period the next morning, would i still be protected against pregnancy?

Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Anytime you missed taking your birth control pills, your chances for a pregnancy are higher. You might need to find another method of birth control if you can't remember to take your medications.

Best,

Daisy
