I have not missed a pill. My boyfriend and I had sex last month while I was on my period that same day I took an ecp. And today I hit placebo pills and no period.

Hello and thank you for sharing your question.
You do not need to use any other form of contraception if you are taking birth control pills. The pills alone are more than enough to prevent pregnancy. The only extra benefit of using condoms is to prevent STD's. But STD's are not an issue when you are monogamous.
June 14, 2015 - 9:55amWhen you are taking birth control pills it is imperative that you DO NOT take emergency contraceptives at the same time! Both contain hormones and when you double up your hormones are thrown off balance and your cycle will be irregular.
Your period is late, not because you are pregnant, but because your body is confused from the hormone imbalance.
You need to keep taking your birth control pills as usual without any changes. And remember in the future, do not take emergency contraceptives while taking the pills.
