I’m confused and wonder if you could lend some advice or your own thoughts on the differences that you have experienced on this topic.
I have regular cycles around 27 days (sometimes 26). My menstruation typically starts light and is super heavy the second day (red in color). It typically lasts 4-5 days. On day 12 of my cycle I have a positive OFK and subsequently had intercourse. I either ovulated on day 13 or 14 so today would be around CD 11. Yesterday morning, I started with a very bright colored blood and then experienced nothing until later in the afternoon. Later it was more and I had some cramping. I used a tampon b/c I did not have pads. That night it was only on one side. Two different times I had a drop on my underwear. Overnight it did not fill half the tampon. Today was the same thing. In fact after six hours and then checking the tampon, it was filled about half way, but my guess is that it was not soaked all the way through. The color is not the same as usual, but it seems like I shouldn’t have that much blood b/c what I read says “spotting”. Typically, today I would be really heavy and it is about half that. It is also three or four days prior to my period so I am confused. It feels like a period, but I am unsure because of the bright color and amount. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Implantation can happen 6 or more days after sex but a pregnancy test will be accurate by the time one's period is due. Therefore it's not likely you are pregnant even though you had what may have been implantation bleeding. However, nothing is set in stone so taking a pregnancy test tomorrow is a good idea if your period hasn't come yet. Also, make sure to look at your test properly - there may be a fine (second) line there that you are not seeing if not studying it under good light.

I have gone of the pill nov. when I started my period. (29-5th) Hubby and I are trying for a baby. My period has been very irregular. Also menstruated dec. 8-15 then dec. 26-2 jan. So my last period was Dec 26 and for 5 days now(started jan 27) I've been having brown blood on my pantyliner. the flow is too low to use a pad. Yesterday morning and this morning also had red drops when going to toilet, but only at toilet, no red on pantyliner. I am hoping for it to be implantation bleeding but also stressed there may be something wrong with me any advice would help thanx
January 31, 2013 - 10:12amso i had an ultrasound done today, everything looks normal. I've had blood taken and i don't seem to have a thyroid issue, a hormone imbalance or endo. could the light bleed/spotting i had a week before my period, actually be a period? if not it has now been 42 days since my last period. I'm still tired, nauseous, and hungry but BFN

January 21, 2013 - 11:26ami had sex the Jan 5th and my Ovulation date is 10th. I track when my implantation would come on and it said the 18th and on the 18th i started to get light bleeding and brown discharge, but then it started to get heavier like the next day . I had a dull cramp when it was on and it went off just last night on the 20th Jan. My period is not due for another 6 days i have a 33 period cycle I'm never one day late and i keep track of my ovulation.I had symptoms like gas, fatigue, constipated, cramps, and lower back pain. So can it possible be implantation and how long after implantation can i take pregnancy test.
hi does anyone have any advice Im 33 and I have a 26-28 day cycle my last period was 24.12.12 and lasted 4 days which is normal then I had unprotected intercourse several times from the 31.12.12 to the 06.01.13 on the 05.01.13 I had bad cramps so persumed ovalation cramps then on the 09.01.13 I went to the toilet and had a small spot of brown blood in my panties and nothing since is it implantation or ovalation so I think that would of been day 16 or 17 in my cycle. Any advice not had spotting in any previous pregnancies so very strange.
January 12, 2013 - 2:56amI am a 34 almost 35 y/o mom of 2 that had my tubes banded 10 yrs ago. I am very regular but started 4 days late but it started off very light and bright red then the next day it was very heavy then gone by the 3rd day. I have been very emotional for the past 3 weeks and this is not usual for me. I also on the 3rd day had a mucusy brown discharge that I have never had. I then started to have mild to tolerable cramping centered over my pubic area. I also about a month ago all of a sudden got the baby blues and had a rush of energy that ended in me making passionate love with my husband which I hate to admit is the first time since my youngest son was conceived. Could I be pregnant or just starting the pre change of life?

Your sexual peak could be starting (it happens far later for women than men). It's quite early for menopause - the average age is about 52. It's even a tad early for peri-menopause but certainly not impossible.
It's very rare to get pregnant after your tubes are tied but it might be worth it to take a test nonetheless. Since you did have a period, it's likely to be negative but take one to ease your mind. Your period may have been different this month due to a hormonal fluctuation - this can happen for a variety of reasons.

January 8, 2013 - 2:31pmHi. I had a question about this subject. I have a 26-28 day cycle. Mostly 26 days with period staring the next day. Well this month on day 26 I had 3 drops of blood when I went to bathroom in the toilet(tmi). And a little bit of pink discharge on tp a few times when I wiped afterwords. I had no cramps or anything I normally get with start of period. Then the next night I got period like cramps but no period or spotting. So I'm confused today is cd 28 and I feel great no pms or blood. I have been pregnant before and had every typical symptom but no spotting or IB. So I'm not sure if this could be pregnancy or just very off AF because of the random spotting. Any advice would help.
December 12, 2012 - 4:47pmOk. Here is my issue if you don't mind I could really use some advice. I take birth control pills and during the first week (11/18 - 11/24) out of the three weeks, I missed a pill. No idea how I did it since I am very good about it. So, next day when I went to take pill just kept taking them for the rest of the pack. I have been under the impression that I am not able to conceive so I really didn't get concerned at all. Well, around 11/28 for about 2-3 days I had a very wet discharge. Like as if I wet myself, but didn't actually. Then, from 12/4 - 12/6 I had the weirdest fluttery feeling in my lower abdomen. It was so strange and its really hard to describe. Then on 12/7 - 12/8 I had slight cramping but not like period cramps more muscular if that makes any sense. I have also noticed that my pants don't fit me the same in the waste, but I haven't gained any weight. I am so confused. I have no breast soreness or tenderness but they feel heavier to me. I have also been so exhausted that I can't stay awake to watch my favorite tv shows at night. Then today, I went to the bathroom and saw slight amount of brown blood on the toilet paper and what looked like shedded skin in the toilet. So, I put on a pad thinking this was my period, but it is almost clean. Normally I would have already changed it 3 times by now. I don't understand. Can anyone give me a clue as to what is happening here? Thanks in advance.
