First of all.. I am not pregrant. So that can be ruled out. This has been going on for about 2 months now and I am so tired of not being able to sleep without pain or waking up. I have been to my doctor and she has already done a urine test for infection but came back negative.
I am fine once I get up and move around all day ( no pain or discomfort) once i go to bed I usually wake up every 2-3 hours needing to pee as i get a lot of pressure. during that time i can barely move to get out of bed because my left lower hip area is so sore.
Is there something else I should be asking my doctor to look at?? or do?? I am so desperate for a good night sleep without having to wake up to pee or move without pain

Hip pain associated with frequent urination sign of pelvic muscle dysfunction ,means your pelvic muscles are to tight ..I have the same problem ,my urination got so bad that I have to go to toilet every 10mins... relaxation ,physiotheraphy, yoga and breathing exercising help to relax pelvic floor muscles . Research more about this

I have the same problem but it is my right hip. I have no pains in my hip when moving around during the day except then I have lower back pain. Anyway when the pain in my hip starts at night I have to pee. When I use the restroom the hip pain goes away until the next time. Even during the day when I lay on my right side.

Hi Cellie,
Welcome to EmpowHER. Have you had any imaging test done like an ultrasound.
Many things can cause frequent urination
You might want to suggest that to your doctor or get a second opinion from another doctor, especially an OBGYN.
Here is a link that will help
