Please help me I am very scared! I had my period on the 2nd of December and on the 21st I engaged in dry sex (we both had shorts and underwear on), I was ovulating during that time and am unsure if he ejaculated, 46 hrs later I took the morning after pill (single dose pill). About 8 days later (a week before my expected period, my cycle is generally 32-35 days long), I had what seemed to be a period which lasted 5 days, it was slightly lighter than my usual period but definitely not spotting (I had to wear pads on day 1-3). My question is, is this my actual period that has come early, induced by the morning after pill, or should I be expecting another one in a couple of days! IF I had this "period" can I still be pregnant. When should I consult a doctor? Please help I am very worried!

Hi Sames life,
You cannot get pregnant from having dry sex with your boyfriend. You can only get pregnant if you have the opportunity to have sperm actually enter your vagina. In this case, you should not have a chance of getting pregnant but since you took the emergency contraceptive, you will have irregularities for at least two cycles (two months). If you are still concerned about pregnancy, take a pregnancy test...this should rest your mind about the possibility. Hope this helps and good luck.

Hi Missie!
Thanks for the quick reply! So can I go take a pregnancy test and will it be as accurate as possible now ! I was concerned because of the possibility of semen seeping through the sides of my short shorts and slightest possibility sperm may have gotten through eventhough i dont think anything was there! Should I take a blood test or a urine test and has it been long enough? Sorry I'm very concerned and naive it was my first time!
Thanks!!
