My husband noticed the other day that he has a mole on the inside of his left shoulder. He says that it has grown and it hurts. Should we be concerned?

Thanks for your question and welcome!

There is no need to be concerned as of now but he absolutely needs to get this mole checked. Anytime a new mole pops up, or an existing mole changes, they need to be reviewed by a health care professional.

All moles, regardless of change, should be checked on at least an annual basis.

So make sure he gets it seen.
