I had unprotected sex for the first time on 29th June but he pulled out. I took Plan B 13 hours after the deed when I found out you can get pregnant from precm (i had no idea). This is what happened
July 5th - brownish period for about 3 days (enough to need a pad)
July 14th - got a period but lighter than normal (still enough to need a pad, i'm usually really heavy)
I read abt implantation bleeding and got scared, Took HPTs - 21st July, 8th Aug, 11th Aug ...all negative

Aug 15th - Got period but again lighter than normal, enough to need a pad and a few clots were there too
I'm now about 5 days late for my period for this month and I'm scared that I might be pregnant cuz I read that some women have light periods during their pregnancy
I took a test today 21st sept and its negative too.
Cant go to the doctors' I live in a country where sex outside of marraige is a crime
So my question is
Is my period delayed cuz of Plan b or am i pregnant?
Ps I've had no sexual encounters since June.

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER.

I can appreciate the limitations you have in going to see a gynecologist.

An emergency contraceptive can cause changes in the menstrual cycle. Your next period can start earlier or later than expected and flow can be lighter or heavier than normal. But, you took the pill in late June and its effects should be over. You may have been more sensitive to the dose. Only a physician can advise you.

Regards,
Maryann
