Brown discharge is old blood which may have come down from a previous period you've had. If your period is due around this time then the brown discharge may change to the normal bright, red blood experienced during your period shortly after.

Dear Anon,
If there was no penetration between you and your boyfriend the chances of you getting pregnant from any pre-ejaculation (IF any) are slim to none. Although sperm are motile, it requires a lot of work for them to travel from the outside of your vagina into it through the canal and fertilize your ovum (egg).
