Thank you I forgot to mention that i already saw my OBGYN on Tuesday and I'm in the clear for infections. my question was really do i have to be ovulating to get pregnant and if so what else could my constantly sore breasts be caused by?

Dear Princess23,

Even though your OTC kits like vagisil indicate that you have no infection, please see your gynecologist just in case you may have an inflammation of your cervix or something else.

If you had unprotected sex more than 2 weeks ago you can test for pregnancy. But definitely schedule that appointment with your OB/GYN.

Good Luck,

Rosa

Hi I was just wondering what is going on with my body My Last Period was on Nov.17th and for the past 6-8 days my breast have been very sore my nipples have been sore too. I know my period isn't due until the 17th of Dec because its always on the 17th of every month like clockwork never late never early but I just don't understand why my breasts could be sore and swollen.I've had light cramping for the past 6-8 days and when we have sex it feels like my boyfriend is hitting something which i know would be my cervix but this is new never hurt before. i've had more discharge then usual .. its not itchy and doesn't smell so i took a vagisil test and it was negative for infections. is it possible in any way to get pregnant during your period or right after or right b4 and still have your period and pregnancy test turn negative at the time ? and If so when should i take a pregnancy test and it be accurate?

Hi worried sick,

Sperm dies within minutes to 1 hour (at most) from being exposed to air. If your hands were dry, then there is no chance of pregnancy. For hygienic reasons, please wash your hands next time.

Hi Worried Sick,

Do you have a 28 day cycle? If so, you should have been ovulating on or around November 22-24th, not this week. Unless you meant November 18th. If you accidentally typed the 8th and meant the 18th then this "spotting" can be mid-cycle spotting and is normal. Please wait for your period to arrive, if it's late then take a pregnancy test.

Good Luck,

Rosa

no it was the 8th. but my period is usually irregular meaning it's more than 28 day cycle. would prefer to call it a 35 day cycle. patiently waiting for my period this month though. cuz right now i'm worried and i fear that me being worried is only going to make my period even later than normal. trying my best to be calm. oh ya we had de masturbation session on the 17th.

When it is a 35 day cycle, it's hard to determine when you do ovulate. Just wait for it patiently, I know it's hard.
