I am aged about 33 this is the first month my periods were twice in a month. The first time bleeding stopped in the same day. Is there anything to worry about it.

Guide

Hi Anonymous and thanks for bringing your concerns to EmpowHER.

If you had bleeding for just one day then you probably did not have two periods. It most likely was some old blood and uterine lining remaining from your most recent period. This can happen from time to time, and doesn't cause worry. If you do find that you are having two periods a month, with each lasting several days in duration, then it would be best to see your healthcare provider.

Hope that helps,

Pam
