hello all
My mother has persistent pain in her left arm and breast for the past one year. Its intensity increases when she walks or works swiftly. She has got her mamography done but that didn't show any wrong signs, so Is this an early sign of heart attack? Or is it mammalgia?
please help.

Guide

Hello and welcome to EmpowHer,
When pain in the armpit area does not step from the breast it is often comes from the lymph node in the armpit area. Lymph nodes can become infected or develop cysts. In this case in can become painful.
I suggest that she have her lymph nodes checked next.
