Okay so my boyfriend and I split up about two weeks ago and then just this past Saturday, two days ago, I slept with someone else... Today I got five positive pregnancy tests, my question is is it possible that I got a positive test after only two days after having sex or was I already pregnant?

Hi Anon,
Welcome to EmpowHER. Depending on the type of test and the instructions. Some test can detect HCG levels before your period is due. It also depends if you had unprotected intercourse during your fertile days. A woman with regular cycles normally ovulate between days 11-21 of a cycle, counting the first day of your period as day one. Maybe you were pregnant already. Hope this was helpful?

It was just a cheap dollar test and it was less than 48 hours since I had unprotected sex. I did miss my pill with my ex a few weeks ago. Doesn't it take at least 1-2 weeks for implantation? Im so confused and in a bad situation.
