Pregnancy from genital rubbing?

Hi. I've been on Portia BC since December. I take it on time every day, the most I've ever been off by is maybe 2 hours at most. The other day, my boyfriend and I took part in genital rubbing without a condom, there was no penetration and he did not ejaculate anywhere near my vagina at all, and he ejaculate a few minutes after the rubbing had stopped. I wonder what the chances of me being pregnant are? Ever since the incident, I feel more "wet" down there (sorry TMI) and I can't help but wonder if it's because of where I am in my BC pack (period due in nine days) or if its the start of something else...thank you

Hi tee_mik,

Thanks for your question! Birth control pills are up to 99.1% effective when taken correctly. That leaves a very minimal chance for pregnancy when having unprotected sex. However, you didn't really have sex but rubbing and foreplay which caused your boyfriend to ejaculate AFTER the rub. If you take your birth control pills on time and everything happened as stated, then you are fine and should be getting your period as expected in 9 days. Vaginal lubrication can vary depending on the time of the month, during ovulation, being excited, etc. so this is nothing to worry about!

Take care and hope this helps!
