Q:

pregnancy scare

Was showering with my girlfriend and we didn't have sex, but my pre cm got on her stomach and ran down to her pubic area. Later on I also ejaculated and a small amount may have landed above that area, but in any case could it run down and cause a pregnancy? She was supposed to ovulate a day or a few days later but never ovulated.

All this happened near when she was supposed to ovulate, but she doesn't think it has come yet at all. Would it cause her ovulation not to come if it was present? Also she has some PMS or pregnancy symptoms but her period is weeks away

Hi bulls54,

No, this would not affect ovulation. If her period is late by at least one week, she should take a pregnancy test. Guessing over symptoms will not give you an answer. A test result will.

Guide

Hello Anonymous,

It is hard to say. If your girlfriend is 100% certain that she was not ovulating at the time then there was no risk for pregnancy. There is no way of knowing if any sperm entered her vagina. If all of this happened in the shower with water running, there is a very good chance that the semen washed off her and down the drain.

The only way to know is to wait and if her period is late by at least seven days, she needs to test for pregnancy.

Regards,
Maryann
