So, my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex a while ago (around November) and have been intimate multiple times since them. I always get my periods, but this month, I haven't gotten it. After we had unprotected sex, my periods kept becoming later and later, and now it is a few days late, I'm extremely worried. Someone please help!

Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Thank you for coming to us with your concern.

Unprotected intercourse puts you at risk for becoming pregnant. If your period does not start within the next week, take a home pregnancy test. Test in the morning. Use the first urine of the day. It is concentrated and will give the most accurate result.

Regards,
Maryann
