Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER and thank you for your question.

Have you had unprotected sexual intercourse since your normal period in October?

Was the vaginal flow this month more like spotting than a flow? Was it heavy enough to fill a tampon or sanitary pad? Was it pink, brown or red in color?

If you had unprotected intercourse since your October period, the light flow this month could have been implantation bleeding. I suggest you take a home pregnancy test now.

Regards,
Maryann

Hello Anonymous,

It sounds like a normal period except of shorter than normal duration. If your periods continue to be irregular, I suggest you schedule an appointment with a gynecologist, who can diagnosis the cause.

Maryann
