I had my gallbladder out in 1997 and am now having consistent pain in the same area. I twisted the other day to reach something and had horrible pain in the gall-bladder area that lasted over 5 minutes. Now, I have low-grade consistent pain and major pain if I cough or laugh.
Has something happened to the surgery site???

It is important that you call your physician and report your symptoms. Your doctor will probably ask you to come into the office to be examined. That is the only way to determine the cause of the pain.
