My first question would be do you or your wife have an STD? Because to get one, someone has to give one, if that makes sense. I find that part of your question a little confusing.
There are STDs that can be spread via oral to genital contact, but it sounds like your genitals were covered. If you had no skin to skin contact, it is highly unlikely that you would contract an STD. We do have a page on STDs: https://www.empowher.com/condition/sexually-transmitted-diseases
