Hi, I am a 21 year old female. I had sex 3 days before my periods. And then I had an emergency pill that very night. I also got my periods after 3 days. However, my next period is delayed by 2 weeks now. I am really worried, what are the chances that I'm pregnant?
Thanks

Dear Anon,

It's possible that taking the morning after pill has caused your period to be "late" since you got it 3 days after taking the pill. You can take a pregnancy test and if it is negative then this is a side effect of the medication and you will get your period soon.

Good luck,

Rosa

Also I forgot to mention, there was no precum, and if there was any, it was wiped off. I have read that precum does not contain sperm, having come from a different gland than the testicles where the semen comes from. I peed multiple times inbetween this and the last time of ejaculation.

Hi,

My gf and I were having a hook up session, hadn't seen each other in a while, and clothes started to come off. We have done this before, but there was pentration, only for a few seconds, with no condom. It was a few days after ovulation and she said her period was 9 days away. Her periods tend to be more regular. Pregnant?

Hi Anon

We don't know if your girlfriend is pregnant or not (it's even too early for a test) but if her period is late, it's a good idea to test. Men can ejaculate within seconds of penetration and have pre-ejaculate that they aren't aware of. However, it sounds like your risk is low.

Best,

Susan
