Q:

Should I buy plan B?

So, I've been taking birth control since June of this year (it's October, now) and this month I had to switch birth control brands because of some negative side effects with the previous kind. Since I started in june, I've been taking pills at between 8 and 9 AM, sometimes not until 10, but always in the morning. I missed one pill this month, a little over a week ago now, and then I had some bleeding for a few days. I had unprotected sex last night because I thought my period had started--there was some slight brown discharge--but now there's nothing today. I took the last active pill in my pack this morning, and I start the non-active pills tomorrow. My question is: should I buy plan B since it's my first month of a new birth control pack, since I take my pill variably in a 1 or 2 hour period, and since I missed a pill a week and a half ago?
