Q:

Is there any real chance of pregnancy?

Hi again!

Today (feb 20) I did not have sex with my boyfriend, however a few things happened and we were not using a condom or any other type of protection. First we did anal, and I know that you cannot get pregnant through anal. But the thing is that even though he did not ejaculate during or after anal, I asked him that if by any chance he might had let go a little amount of cm inside me (like pre ejeculation), and he said that even though he did not ejeculate, he might have let go a little fluid or pre cm as expected when he was inside me. After that, I went to the bathroom and cleaned my self just in case. However, if there was any cm inside in my anus, where does it go? My fear is that after a while it might leak out of it and through my panties, somehow it might end in my vagina. Because we dry humped after that ( i had pants on) and obviously there was fluid coming out of my vagina at some point. During this, he ejaculated outside my jeans but at the part where my thigh ends before the vagina. I know that it is almost impossible for the sperm to go from my jeans, through my panties, and into my vagina. But when he ejaculated, even though i had jeans on, when I took them off to clean myself and change my underwear and pants, my thigh was wet/ moist due to the ejaculation. My biggest concern is that this happened during my ovulation day and I simply did not thought of that because after all, even though his penis might have slightly and quickly touched my vagina just once, we did not have intercourse. But I just want to make sure... My questions are = given the situations described, is there any real chance of pregnancy? And, most importantly, do you recommend me to take "Postinor"?? ( i took it once on jan 12 last month, and from what I know, it is very dangerous to take it often) I Would like to know what is the time frame that has to pass before i can take another? What are the risks of the pill if I take it tomorrow? Or am I just exaggerating and should not take the pill???
Thanks a lot for your patience and I appreciate as much detail as you can. Thanks again!

Hi! Thank you for your answer. My concern is that it might have leaked out of my anus while we were dry humping and with the movement and vaginal fluids, the pre cum could have got into my vagina. Could this happen? What worries me is that I was ovulating.

Hi worriedworriedworried,

You can rest assured that this could not happen.

Hello worriedworriedwooried,

Welcome again to EmpowHER.

There was no possible risk for becoming pregnant. Following anal sex, any ejaculated fluid would have leaked out of your anus. The anus is the opening where the gastrointestinal tract ends and exits the body. The anus starts at the bottom of the rectum, the last portion of the large intestine. There is no connection to your vagina.

When you were dry humping, you were wearing jeans, which acted as a barrier. No ejaculated fluid could have gotten through and into your body.

There is no need to take Postinor 2. Do not take it as a form of birth control. Please visit a gynecologist, learn about all birth control options and choose the one that will work best for you.

ECP are intended to be use only in emergency situations. Using them as birth control can be expensive, and over use leads to decreased effectiveness in preventing pregnancy.

Regards,
Maryann
