I had experience several attacks already of my Multiple Sclerosis condition which was diagnosed only when I was 22. I have a neurologist who monitors my health every now and then. He prescribes steroids whenever an attack arises. I had a large dose of it recently and was amazingly a big help for me. But there's still some abnormalities that I feel in my body like; slight movement of the head sometimes and some electric shock like on my feet. I asked my doctor about it already but he told me it'll eliminate as time pass. But I'm kind of worried that a sudden attack might come back and that I have to take steroids again. I'm gaining more weight whenever I take it and had a lot of acne as well.. I still have some dark spots of it though the pimples had already been gone. Maybe you can give me some advice??Thanks.

Hi acidreign,

Unfortunately, there is no cure for multiple sclerosis (MS), but there are treatments available as you mentioned such as steroids. Here is more information from the Mayo Clinic http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/multiple-sclerosis/DS00188/DSECTION=tre....

You should be closely monitored by your physician about your treatments and this information is only provided for informational purposes. If you have concerns about your treatment, try obtaining a second opinion.

I hope this information helps and please keep us updated on your progress.

Hi Missie,

I checked the site that you gave and it was quite informative regarding my condition. Thanks a lot. I was told by my neurologist to visit him immediately when an unusual attack happen again. But I hope it won't attack anymore. I strongly pray for my healing and for all others suffering MS and other health related condition.

Do you have any advice also for the dark spots that I have because of the pimples I had before for taking steroids? Though it lessened already with the help of soap and creams, but still some are still visible. Hope you have any suggestions.

Thanks

Laurice

Hi again Laurice,

I am glad that the website helped. I am going to provide you another website which is helpful for home remedies for removing those dark spots, please click here http://www.home-remedies-for-you.com/askquestion/18301/dark-spots-remedi....

I had a horrible cut on my forehead from a metal box falling on my head. It was horrible and I used liquid Vitamin E which minimized the scar and it is also known to help acne scars. Another thing you may do is make an appointment with a Dermatologist to see if there is anything further they can do to help prevent future acne as well as the scars you have now. I hope this helps.

Missie,

You're such a big help.. I never thought registering with empowHer would be so much helpful. I checked the link that you gave already and I'll try it. I will also buy the liquid Vitamin E that you used. For sure there's a lot of brands available out in the market.

Thanks a lot!
