HERWriter Guide

Dear GirlieGirl

Thank you for your question!

What is probably happening is a normal discharge most women have during their monthly cycle - it's often a sign of ovulation and leaves before a woman's period is due.

The abdominal pain, if it leaves every time, is probably premenstrual pain. You can read more about it here on our PMS page, where we have detailed all aspects of PMS: http://www.empowher.com/media/reference/premenstrual-syndrome#symptoms

If there are no other problems, it sounds like you have a pretty typical case of PMS every month. Our PMS page will also give you some tips on how to deal with the discomfort. Let us know if it helps!
