Hello Candylynn Marie,
I can image how uncomfortable and frustrated you must be. Do you notice any changes to your skin, in addition to the itching? Is your skin dry and chapped? Do you notice a rash or patches of red, dry skin?
Contact dermatitis may be a cause. Or you may have a severe case of dry skin. You may consider consulting your primary care physician or a dermatologist. Once you know the cause, then you can find a treatment.

Hello Anonymous,
That is a very good question.
Perimenopause can be thought of as the menopause transition. It is the interval in which a woman's body makes a natural shift from more-or-less regular cycles of ovulation and menstruation toward permanent infertility, or menopause. Women start this transition at different ages. Generally, a woman begins noticing signs in her 40s, while it is not uncommon for some women to enter perimenopause when they are in their 30s.
Once you've gone through 12 consecutive months without a menstrual period, you've officially reached menopause, and the perimenopause period is over.
Black cohash, an herbal extract, and phytoestrogens, which are plant-derived compounds that have estrogen-like properties, are used to treat hot flashes. Do not take any herbal supplements before checking with your physician.
Be careful using phyotestrogen supplements if you have an increased risk of a disease or condition that's affected by hormones, such as uterine fibroids, endometriosis, or breast, uterine or ovarian cancer. Also, be cautious if you're already taking a medication that increases your level of estrogen, such as birth control pills, hormone therapy or tamoxifen.
