Include Night Sweats information on your My EmpowHer page
Night sweats refer to profuse sweating during sleep. They are part of a variety of vasomotor symptoms linked to the body's thermoregulatory center in the brain, which is affected by circulating hormones. Night sweats are a common occurrence for women before or after menopause, but also are associated with pulmonary tuberculosis and other chronic diseases associated with low-grade fever. Night sweats can also be a side effect of cancer treatments or a symptom of certain cancers.
