what could make mensuration changes from 5days to 3days

pls what is the reason why my mensuration change from 5days to 3 days, my mensuration is normally last for 5 good days before i disvirgin and i normally have serious pains, my thought for the pains was that because i was still a virgin that's why i was having such pains, but to my surprised when i disvirgin the pains still persists and there is no changes between the time i was virgin and the time i disvirgin, i'm still feels pains, the most serious is that since i disvirgin i notice that my mensuration change from 5days to 3 days, pls what could cause this.

Hi Anon,

Being a virgin has nothing to do with the amount of pain you feel from the cramps of menstruating. However, the pain for some women is so unbearable that it is known as Dysmenorrhea. Please visit our page here, for more information: https://www.empowher.com/condition/dysmenorrhea

As far as the duration of your period goes-- a normal period can last anywhere between 3-7 days and can vary from one month to the other.
