Q:

When should I take a Pregnancy Test?

I had sex when I should have been on my period. I sometimes only have a period every two months, and this month I didn't feel like I was going to have a period. I didn't have one. It's been a week since then. Will the test be accurate now, or should I wait to see if I miss another?

Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Since your periods are not the same every month. It might be harder to have an accurate reading. You might want to take a pregnancy test, since your period is originally due. If not, it might be best to have blood work done at your doctors office. Hope this has helped?

Best,

Daisy
