My dr. said I was in menapause. I lost my husband 1 1/2 yrs ago. Have a new friend from long friendship. We are intimate, but I don't sem to have an orgasm. Am relaxed, and open minded, but it never happens anymore. Am I too old at 66?

Hi Anon,

You're not too old to have an orgasm at 66, but you may have to work harder at it. For some women, menopause will increase sex drive, for others it will decrease-- unfortunately, menopause doesn't have the same effects on everyone.

I was able to find acouple of resources on our site that may help you, check them out: https://www.empowher.com/sexual-well-being/content/many-truths-about-sex-after-menopause

All the best,
