ask: Why is that every time I get in a smoky bar, hours later I get a migraine, congestion, and geen junk coming from my nose?

Hi Anonymous,
Thank you for your question and welcome to Empowher. You may be allergic to second hand smoke. There are many toxins that make up a cigarette and there could be something that causes you to have the reaction. I am surprised to hear that there are places that still allow smoking in closed settings as many States have passed the law to ban smoking within 4 walls.

Do yourself a favor and either find a smoke-free environment and rid yourself of the pain later. If you are interested in the toxins that are found in a cigarette, check it out here from Haz-Map http://hazmap.nlm.nih.gov/cgi-bin/hazmap_generic?tbl=TblActivities&id=23.

It is amazing how many toxins are found in such a small cigarette. Good luck.

Hey, I personally think you shouldn't go to smoky bars. Your body must have a reaction to the smoky bars.
Hope it helped,
Mystery Girl

P.S.
It probally did not help.
