Hello daisy1497,

Thank you for sharing your question with the community.  This is a very good question.  Although I do not think you should put all your faith in an app, it is apparent that your period is late.

When you are in your teenage years it is common for your period to be irregular because your body is still trying to reach a hormonal balance.  Many other things can effective your period such as stress, eating disorders, medications etc.

Even though having irregular periods at your age is not uncommon and nothing to worry about, if you wish to have a regular period doctors often suggest that you take birth control pills in order to give your body to hormones it needs to have a regular period.  This is a great solution is you are also experiencing negative symptoms such as severe cramps, abdominal pain, or heavy bleeding.

If you are not experiencing any negative symptoms, it is best to allow your body to reach a hormonal balance on its own, this is perfectly natural.

I hope this helps.  Let us know if you have any more questions.
