Sept. 2008 I was hosptalized for 7 days with a swollen colon. They ran every test possible and couldn't come up with any answers to what was going on. My second to my last day there they did a colonoscopy and found nothing. They released me the next day with some unknown reason. So they gave it a name such as infectious collitis. I suffered for a couple months with IBS and nausea. So they did another colonoscopy as will as upper oscopy and still found nothing, I've had several other tests ran still nothing. The very next day after my second colonoscopy I woke up in pain. I went back to the doctor and he came up with fibromyalgia. I went to emergency several times after that because I was in so much pain. They set me up with a new doctor. He had me take a nuclear test and he told me that I lite up the charts. So he gave me some meds (Azulifine) then after one week doulble up on the meds whitch made me hurt even worse than before. So I went back to my family doctor and he set me up with mscotin 60mg morning and nite and percocet as break thru. I'm still taking the meds but now I take 30mg at night and 15mg during the day along with the percocet for the break thru pain. And I have had several set backs to were I have to take more of the pain meds to get me thru. this last time its been real bad not to mention all the lost work time that I have missed since this has started. I've been out of work in the last year more than I've been there. My doctor has set me up with a new doctor that suppossibly specializes in fibromyalgia so we will see how that goes. Because right now I have no quilty of life just pain meds. and alot of lost time from work. So if anyone could help me I would really appreciate it. Thank You for taking the time to read my story.
