Dear Anon
Thanks for your post and welcome to EmpowHer! I'm sorry you are homebound so much - I hope you have a good support system at home - do you?
I also hope some of our readers have experience with the use of tysabri in dealing with their MS.
We have a lot of information here on EmpowHer regarding this very subject : you can find it here: http://www.empowher.com/news/2009/04/29/tysabri-may-treat-myelin-sheath-...
In addition, a HerNews article was reported here on EmpowHer just two days ago regarding the side effects of tysabri - you can read it here: http://www.empowher.com/news/2009/09/09/scientists-find-clue-dangerous-s...
And we hope other readers with MS who have taken tysabri or are thinking about it will join in this conversation.
Anon - what do you think of these articles? Have you taken tysabri or are you contemplating it for now?

I just had my 1st Tysabri infusion on Oct 2, 2009. Everything went very well. The only side effect I experienced was a little nausea about the 3rd and 4th day after. I did not vomit. The feeling passed within about 5 minutes. I hope this helps you somewhat.
October 4, 2009 - 11:20pmMy health was getting worse and I was getting to the point where i was getting afraid to drive due to weakness on my right side so, I figured the benefits out weighed the risks so, I went for it and like I said before. so far so good.
I've had MS for 11 years. I started Tysabri 12 months ago and the outcome has been amazing. No new activity for a whole year!!!
October 7, 2009 - 2:40pmand my only side effect in the beginning was fatigue.
