I'm sorry you had such an awful experience with your doctor. I can say I have had poor connections with some doctors, and a few that I didn't think were that good or knowledgeable, but I can't say that I regretted any of those decisions...I just talked to more people to get another recommendation and went to another doctor. I now "interview" doctors for just 5-10 minutes, to just talk and see if we "click" or not. A few doctor offices I called didn't know what I meant by "interview", so I also called it a "meet-and-greet", just to meet the doctor before any medical appointments come up. One office actually told me that "they don't DO that", so that answered my question...that doctor was off my list!
Have you found another doctor that you feel is able to properly diagnose your condition? Were you not treated compassionately, or actually prescribed the wrong medication? Let us know what area you live in, and maybe someone reading your story can provide a doctor recommendation who lives in your region.
Take care of yourself. Are you still feeling suicidal? Do you have a good support system of family and friends nearby?

Why does shopping make you feel better? Is it the thrill of buying something new or do you like spending money? Do you ever have second thoughts or regret your purchases later? Just wondering....
