  Are there certain tests done to rule out . .. let's say .. . . a BRAIN TUMOR, brain cancer .. or other diseases before giving a diagnosis of vertigo?

  I have been suffering from subjectice vertigo for a year and a half now. It first started like sensation of falling down just before falling asleep, but it did not bother me during the day.

  i get light headed at least a week before my period and then it goes away the day of my period could this be related in anyway to my period? if so what can i do to prvent it reoccuring?

  I started having vertigo about six months ago every time i layed on my back or on my right side. The room would spin and I'd feel like I was going to throw up.

  I fell last year and hit the back of my head and neck pretty hard on ice. Since that time I have been having inner ear problems.

  I have had severe verigo for 2 wks. I went to emergency and found I had a menigioma on my rt frontal lobe and a right branch block in my heart.

  

  What can I do for a severe case of vertigo without insurance?

  An employee has been signed off work for 2 months with vertigo. As far as we are aware (and from her health declaration) she had no previous history of vertigo.

  I have had a couple of brief episdoes of vertigo several years ago but just recently had another episode more serious,e.g., included dizziness and I fell down in the parking lot at work.

  

  Will vertigo resolve on its own?
