Hi Susan, so glad you could join.

Yes, it take a lot of dedication, and prep to follow a strictly vegan yet healthy diet. For some folks it is either all or nothing. But I think even supplementing some meals for vegan ones as much as possible has a positive impact on the environment and our well being. Plus it is so fun to create and try new recipes!!!

Do you have any favorite recipes?

Hi Zen Rose,

Thanks for starting this group!!

Eating vegan means a plant, veg/fruit and nut diet, as well as beans, pulses, legumes and many other delicious varieties of non meat or dairy based foods.

Strict vegan works for some (I can't, I need my cheese and I just can't with vegan cheeses but I did try!) but having vegan days or becoming vegetarian is also a great way to live.

I hope others can share tips, recipes and their own experiences of a meat-free life.
