AXIS Capital Corp Group is often touted as one of the best and lowest-priced options brokers. The company is located at Belize City, Belize. The currency-trading product is AXISCapital Forex. The AXISCapital website relates that it is not a market maker broker because it does not internalize client orders, but the company is compensated for its services through the bid/ask spread. However, I recommend to everyone to please read all the disclaimers and warnings on their website. In its secondary risk disclosure, it states that Axis is a market maker and that its interests may be in conflict with yours, as is true with all market makers.

AXISCapital is a registered company so you can be assured that they are not a scam. I heard about the company through my colleagues when I was in Jakarta Indonesia for business. I am glad that I have tried dealing with them and since then they never failed me. New customers can open accounts with deposits as low as $500 for mini accounts and $2,500 for standard accounts. You can fund your account by credit card, debit card, eCheck, wire transfer or check (in USDs). Bank checks, cashier's checks and cash are not acceptable forms of deposit with AXISCapital.

AXISCapital publishes its spreads live on its website in real time. It supports spreads as small as one pip. Trading platforms include AXISCapital desktop, AXISCapital web and mobile versions. The desktop version supports customized layouts, 70 technical indicators, 15 predefined trading strategies and more. The web version can be accessed via any web browser using any type of operating system. It includes charting tools and real-time quotes. The mobile versions are available for iPhones and Android phones and allow order entry, display newswires and include charting tools.

What I like about them is whenever I need assistance; I can contact AXISCapital by telephone, fax, email or mail. For basic forex education, the company provides handbooks, basic analysis tools, a glossary and FAQs. To withdraw funds from your account, you can request a check or wire transfer for $25. Non-U.S. funds are converted back to the source currency and are sent out by wire for $40 USD. Withdraws are processed within two business days. They are very easy to deal with plus customer service is superb.

Although AXISCapital has a popular low-priced options product, AXISCapital Forex requires some investigation. As with any forex trading venture, I highly recommend that you do your research and carefully consider what you can risk.
