Do any of you have foods (besides Coffee, etc.) that give you more energy when you eat them regularly?

Look for food rich in B-12: i.e. meat, fish, poultry, eggs and dairy foods. Particularly rich sources of vitamin B12 include shellfish, herring, sardines, trout and some game meats. Vegans and strict vegetarians can get B12 from some fortified foods, such as ready-to-eat cereals and meal replacements (e.g., bars and drinks).

Hi Marlena

I eat walnuts and almonds every day for energy and I find that foods like fresh salads and blueberries really give me energy. They contain natural sugars for energy and the "meaty" texture of the nuts (I am vegetarian) fills me. Almonds are full of protein and calcium!  I highly recommend your own granola made with blueberries and nuts.

Bright, colorful foods are great. Bananas work well when playing sports, I always eat one before a tennis competition and they help guard against cramps.

Green foods like broccoli and spinach are great for energy and fish like salmon.

I hope this helps!
