By June 23, 2012 - 9:30pm

Hi everyone. I am in desperate need of advice, I had been sleeping with this guys since 2008 we didnt actually officialy start going out boyfriend girlfriend until 2010, he broke up with me four months later I WAS CRUSHED AND VERY DEPRESSED, we still continued to have sex but never got back together, we never use protection and he always finishes inside of me, when I was with him I was very much in love with him and I believe I still am but ALL WE DO IS HAVE SEX :( I feel like thats all we ARE. I tell him how I feel and he says I deserve better. We can go for 4 to 6 months w/ out seeing each other and I try and talk & get to know other guys but he always seems to come back into my life. I dont know what to do. I care about him very much and just want us to be back together because I feel like I cant be with out him. Ive poured my heart out to him about how I feel but it's like he dsnt care. WHAT SHOULD I DO? he suffers frm anxiety and schizophrenia and I think thats why he believes hes not goof enough for me. Ive tried to walk away before and stay strong but he always seems to find a way back into my life :( I need advice pls :(

Hi dahl,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  Sorry to hear this. But it's important to discuss with him how you feel every time he comes back and then disappears.  If he is willing to save the relationship, you should give him the option first to get help from a psychotherapist. Before having sex with him again.  If he is not interested, then it's best for you stop this. You are putting yourself at risk of ending up with an STD or pregnancy.

Here are some resources for you
