Hi, I am 52 with two children. I went to my doctor, because I thought that I had a prolapse. I felt that my cervix was too low, no other symptoms. She examined me and said that my bladder was slightly lower and my cervix was down a little, but that was normal for a woman of my age with two children, because the vaginal walls do weaken.
What I am wondering is, when you get older does the cervix always get a bit lower and what is normal and what is not. Looking on the internet is seems to be that, using your knuckles to measure, about the second finger joint in is normal. Any input? Thanks.
