Reach to Recovery is an American Cancer Society program designed to help breast cancer patients meet the physical, emotional, and cosmetic needs related to cancer and its treatment. Women who have had radiation therapy to treat their breast cancer volunteer to participate in the program by providing practical information and sharing their experiences with others. All volunteers are carefully selected and trained.

Programs vary from city to city. Call your local American Cancer Society unit for more information or contact departments of radiation therapy at major medical centers.
