Dr. Harness, M.D.:
The number one cancer killer of women in the world is breast cancer. I think we have thought for years that it’s cervical. It’s big, obviously cervical is big, but breast is the biggest.

There is a major global initiative that has been started with the World Health Organization, The Coleman Foundation, and other groups to start looking at matching the treatment, the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer around the world to the available resources in that geographic location. And it depends on the resources and standards are being written for what’s proper, given a geographic location, where a woman has breast cancer.

I see this really growing. I see this being a major role for EmpowHer. I see it being a major role for the Web as millions of women are on the Web, and this whole thing is in evolution right now.
