Dr. Harness discusses invasive lobular breast cancer symptoms.

Dr. Harness, M.D.:
There may be no symptoms with invasive lobular cancer, and importantly, the mammograms can be negative even though the cancer is there because of the way it grows in the breast. Or there can be a lump in the breast with, interestingly, a negative mammogram because of the unique way that lobular grows within the breast, but often the ultrasound is positive.

So the answer is, again, there may be no symptoms. There may be a lump in the breast, or in very unusual and rare cases, there might be some type of nipple discharge. If there are any symptoms of the breast at all, it should clearly be worked up.
