Dr. Bernstein:

Well, changes are happening in your brain when you get a migraine. Chemicals are being triggered off. Cells are firing. It is almost like little bursts of electricity that your brain cannot regulate, and what ends up happening is that you end up with the pain, the throbbing, and the nausea and vomiting. So, the brains of people who have migraines are really sensitive in different ways than they are in the normal persons.
